1. About this policy
This policy explains how Evolve Planning and Design Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on evolvepad.online, what each one does, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies — such as local storage — store information in your browser in the same way, and we treat them the same in this policy.
Cookies set by this website are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organisation whose content appears on a page (for example an embedded video) are called third-party cookies.
3. Our approach
We keep the use of cookies on this site to a minimum. This website sets only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking of any kind, and we do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
To understand how the site is used, we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool self-hosted on our web developer’s infrastructure at analytics.weboptic.com. Umami does not set cookies, does not store any information on your device, does not collect personal data and does not follow you across other websites. It records aggregated page views, referrers, approximate country, device type and browser only.
4. The cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the website to function and for security. They cannot be switched off through our site, and under PECR they do not require your consent.

4.2 Local storage

4.3 Spam prevention on our forms
Pages containing an enquiry form load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is being completed by a person rather than an automated system. Turnstile runs invisibly: there is no puzzle to solve and, in most cases, nothing for you to click.
Turnstile does not set cookies on this website, and it does not track you across other sites. It does receive a limited set of technical signals in order to make its check — your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser User-Agent, and the site key of the page you are visiting. Cloudflare states that these are used only to tell people and bots apart, and not to identify, profile or target individuals. This is a strictly necessary security measure: without it our forms cannot be submitted. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
4.4 Third-party video
Some pages contain videos hosted by Vimeo or YouTube. We load these using a preview image only: the video player is not loaded, and no cookies are set by Vimeo or YouTube, unless and until you click play. If you do choose to play a video, the provider may set its own cookies on your device and will receive your IP address. Those cookies are controlled by the provider, not by us.

4.5 Other third-party connections
Some content is requested from other servers when a page loads. These do not set cookies on your device, but the server concerned will receive your IP address as a normal part of delivering the content:
- Bunny.net (Bunny Way d.o.o.) delivers images, fonts and files on this site through its United Kingdom region. See bunny.net/privacy.
- Web Optic (weboptic.com), our web developer, serves the analytics script and a small script used to display client reviews.
5. What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels — our LinkedIn link is a plain link and sets nothing until you follow it
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking
- Cookie-based analytics, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Customer relationship management or marketing automation tracking
- Any sale or sharing of your data with advertising networks
6. Managing cookies
Because this site only sets strictly necessary cookies and uses cookieless analytics, there is nothing you need to opt out of for us to respect your privacy. You can still control or delete cookies through your browser at any time. Blocking the session cookie will prevent our enquiry forms from working.

7. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we change the technologies used on the website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
